![]() Regardless, you got some serious work out of that apprentice! Looking forward to seeing what's in the second tier of stuff. This is a list of all Monsters found in the game in alphabetical order. NHO fucked around with this message at 17:54 on Mar 13, 2023 Your dungeoneers could go through one unexplored/encounter tile, or through one explored and one unexplored/encounter tile. It hurts me that you count explored tiles as one turn. The gold limits go up at a couple distinct points right when the monsters start to outclass you (give or take the issues with the dlc intergration). It's designed to force you to clear lower level content with lower tier heros/cards. How exactly are you supposed to make so much gold when these missions are only doing 50-100 at a time? This game's now 40% off at gog.com so I picked it up - so far I haven't lost anyone, which mostly makes me worry that the RNG is lulling me into a false sense of security. The Grave Digger is somewhat of a wild card with the "take equipment from the dead" trait, but I haven't found huge success with that. The Cat Burglar has his uses, and the Apprentice is good if you know you have a lot of magic fights, or you know you can outpace physical attackers. The Spiky trait can keep you ahead of the damage count pretty well, but you can be in a lot of trouble if you encounter a lot of magic-based enemies. Out of those, I personally like the Bruiser most. There's actually one more I haven't picked up yet-The Mime, which I will most likely pick up at the start of the next episode. Now that you've gotten all the base classes (I presume), do you have a favourite? There's a lot to like about this game but the difficulty scales up very swiftly. This is a fun game! I pre-ordered it and put a lot of time into it once it was released. If meat is murder, then that rug is at least a severe beating. Normally I don't make aesthetic criticisms in other peoples' homes, but that rug looks like a beaver exploded. Instantly sold by the menu music being a takeoff of "Follow Me Up to Carlow". Very cool - liked the first video - I'm guessing things get more complicated as they go on, but the concepts are neat! Oh, the bard's songs throughout the game are far and away the best part. Professor Duck fucked around with this message at 12:51 on Mar 26, 2023 Come join the Guild-there’s plenty of room from continuous turnover (at least with my luck there probably will be)!ĮPISODE 5: What're You Gonna Do? Bleed on Me?ĮPISODE 6: I Got 99 Problems, But a Lich Ain't OneĮPISODE 7: I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watchin' Me I really enjoy the somewhat unique gameplay approach (at least I’ve not encountered anything quite like it), the music is done really well, and it’s a nice little game. I’ve re-oriented myself with how the game works, but any changes to quests or rebalancing cards/equipment or any new stuff is going to be new to me here, too. I picked this up when it initially came out and played it for a bit, but hadn’t really picked it up again until just recently. …This’ll probably make more sense if you just watch an episode, honestly. Loot cards are temporary for the dungeon you’re in, and you earn other permanent cards through successful runs through the dungeons. There are ways to influence where you character goes, but ultimately that comes down to the character’s motivations (which are pretty easy to figure out, but can change).Ĭombat is handled through a card battle with a deck that you construct through earned loot and other factors. To try and summarize as best as I can: You create the dungeon your character explores, while not directly controlling the character’s exploration. ![]() Yes! There are quite a few ideas thrown into how this game works. The Ultimate Edition, a remaster which features many tweaks/rebalances and adds in the original’s DLC, was released in 2021 (This is the version we will be running) ![]() It was originally released in 2015, developed by Gambrinous and published by Versus Evil. The Guild of Dungeoneering is a deckbuilding exploration RPG with a twist. O, to be a Dungeoneer-Swimming in pools of gold!
